How to convert video files to flash

This guide will show you how to convert video files such as avi, 3gp, vcd, dvd, wmv, mp4, asf, psp, Ipod, amv, divx/xvid, rmvb, svcd, mpeg2, mpeg1, or mov, to flash video either .swf or .flv in a very simple and easy steps using WinMPG Video Convert so you could use them on your own website or upload the file to Youtube. With this software you can do batch submission to save time or even combine two or more different video file format and convert them to single flash file.

Getting Started

Step 1: Open WinMPG Video Converter program.

Step 2: Click on the blue arrow down button and choose Convert option.

Step 3: If you wish to convert your video file into .swf format click on SWF button or FLV button for .flv format

Step 4: Select your Input or source file. Click on “…” button beside the Input location field and browse to your source folder and select the video file that you want to convert. The default Output folder where the converted file will be saved is C:\Program Files\WinMPG VideoConvert\Converted. If you wish to change the Output folder click on “…” button beside the Output destination field and browse to your desired folder where you want to save the converted file. Select the profile for the output quality by clicking on the drop down menu.

Step 5: After setting all the options mentioned above go ahead and click on the Start button to start the conversion process. You will then see a converted file size and a meter bar to indicate the progress of the conversion process.

Step 6: When the conversion process is done it will automatically open the folder containing the converted file. Close the program and test the flash file you have just created.
