How to Convert DVD to MP4

This guide will walk you through the whole process on how to easily rip and convert DVD to MP4. You will only need three basic requirements to complete the job.

Getting Started

Step 1: Open WinMPG Video Convert program

Step 2: Click on the blue arrow down button and choose DVDrip option.

Step 3: As you want to convert a DVD movie to an MP4 format, then click on MP4 button. Otherwise, click on the button of your desired output format.

Step 4: The program will automatically detect the DVD you inserted in the DVD drive. Click on the DVD-ROM drop down menu to choose the movie you want to convert. The default Output folder for the converted file will be saved in C:\Program Files\WinMPG VideoConvert\Converted.  You can change the Output folder by clicking on “…” button beside the Output Folder destination field and browse to the folder where you want to save the converted file.  Select the profile for the output quality by clicking on the drop down menu.

Step 5: After setting all the options above, proceed with the conversion process by clicking on the Start button. You will then see a converted file size, estimated time to finish the conversion and a meter bar that indicates the progress of the conversion process.

Step 6: When the conversion process is done it will automatically open the folder containing the converted file. Close the program and test the recently created MP4 file.
