Burning Requirements:

Getting Started

Before anything else make sure that the DVD that you want to copy is already inserted in your DVD drive.

Step 1: Open DVD NeXt Copy Pro program.

Step 2: Click on the new button to create a new project. DVD NeXt Copy will auto detect the DVD that you have inserted as the source.

Step 3: Click the OK button. No need to change the default setting.

Step 4: Click the “Start Button”. You don’t have to make any changes on the settings.

Step 5: Conversion process. DVD NeXt Copy will copy and convert the files into your hard drive to the temporary folder automatically set by the software – normally DVD NeXt Copy will automatically create a “DVDneXtCopy” folder in your C drive. This process will take a while depending on the file size that you are copying. Remaining time, estimated time, and elapsed time are displayed to let you know how long the process will take.

Note: If your drive C does not meet the free disk space required for the temporary file storage you can change it by clicking on the Settings tab then change the Project Library and the Temporary Path folder by clicking on the browse buttons and select your desired folders.

Step 6: After the conversion process DVD NeXt Copy will prompt you to insert the blank DVD to start the burning process. To start the burning process, remove the original DVD from the drive and insert the blank DVD and then click on the Burn button. That’s it! Wait until the burning process is done. Avoid browsing the net or checking your emails while burning is ongoing to avoid burning problems. When burning failure occurs try to do the following:

  1. close all programs
  2. restart your computer
  3. repeat all the steps and use a different blank DVD
  4. try to lower the burning speed

When burning is completed it will automatically eject the DVD. Just click on the OK button and close the program. Test and check if you have successfully created a new copy of your DVD. If you wish to create another copy repeat all the steps from 1 to 6.

Copy Protected DVDS

DVD NeXt Copy Pro was designed to copy protected DVDS however it may not always work because movie developers are scrambling to create new modes of DVD protection in order to prevent piracy. If by any chance DVD NeXt Copy Pro could not copy your protected DVD movies download and install DVD Decrypter (DVD43) software before running DVD NeXt Copy Pro. DVD43 is a software that you can download for free at dvd43.com. This software will run in the background and will do the hard work of decrypting the actual CSS encryption or copy protection of the DVD so that DVD NeXt Copy Pro can continue copying your DVD. All you need to do is install this program and it will do the rest. For instructions on how to install DVD43 click DVD43 Installation Guide.
