Getting Started
Copying a DVD with 1 Drive
Before anything else make sure that the DVD you want to copy is already inserted in your DVD drive.
Step 1: Open DVD neXt Copy Pro program.

Step 2: Click on the new button to create a new project. DVD neXt Copy will auto detect the DVD that you have inserted as the source.

Step 3: Click the OK button. No need to change the default setting.
Step 4: Click the “Start Button”. You don’t have to make any changes on the settings.

Step 5: Conversion process. DVD neXt Copy will copy and convert the files into your hard drive to the temporary folder automatically set by the software. This process will take a while depending on the file size that you are copying. Remaining time, estimated time, and elapsed time are displayed to let you know how long the process will take.

Step 6: After the conversion process DVD neXt Copy will prompt you to insert the blank DVD to start the burning process. To start the burning process, remove the original DVD from the drive and insert the blank DVD and then click on the Burn button. That’s it! Wait until the burning process is done. Avoid browsing the net or checking your emails while burning is ongoing to avoid burning problems. When burning failure occurs try to do the following:
- close all programs
- restart your computer
- repeat all the steps and use a different blank DVD
- try to lower the burning speed
When burning is completed it will automatically eject the DVD. Just click on the OK button and close the program. Test and check if you have successfully created a new copy of your DVD. If you wish to create another copy repeat all the steps from 1 to 6.

Copying a DVD with 2 Drives
If you have two drives you can use 1 drive to read and the other drive to write or burn with only a few minor adjustments to the default setting of DVD neXt Copy Pro. Make sure the original DVD and the blank DVD are already on the drives.
Step 1: Open DVD neXt Copy Pro program.

Step 2: Click on the new button to create a new project. DVD neXt Copy will auto detect the DVD that you have inserted as the source.
Step 3: Put a check on the Autostart Burning Process checkbox and click OK.

Step 4: Click on the Settings tab. Under the settings tab select DVD Burner. This is the drive that will perform the burning process. This is where you inserted your blank DVD. Click on the OK button after selecting your target drive.

Step 5: Click on the “Start Button”. You don’t have to make any changes on the settings.

That’s all there is to it. Since you are using two drives, after the conversion cycle burning process will start automatically. Wait until the burning process is done. Avoid browsing the net or checking your emails while burning is ongoing to avoid burning problems. When burning failure occurs try to do the following:
- close all programs
- restart your computer
- repeat all the steps and use a different blank DVD
- try lower the burning speed
Once burning is completed it will automatically eject the DVD. Click OK and close the program. Test and check if you have successfully created a new copy of your DVD. If you wish to create another copy repeat all the steps from 1 to 5.
