DVD Next Copy Next Tech - DVD Burning Software Guide

Copying movies with DVD Next Copy Next Tech is very easy and that’s because of the DVD movie software’s copy preset options which affords complete user control. You can now select which contents will be copied and how much file compression will be used. It makes DVD copying and burning fast and easy, and this full featured DVD movie software allows more than 10 file systems to support a wide range of platforms..

Using Next Tech for DVD movie burning is very easy. Below is an overview of the simple DVD burning operation with DVD Next Copy neXt Tech. No prior DVD movie software experience is required!.

The DVD movie maker software, by default, is set to copy the whole DVD movie file. That is including the special features, trailers and etc., to a single layer 4.7GB disc, using one single layer DVD burner. If you’re using a single drive, your source and target should be the same drive and you do not need to change any settings (using the DVD movie copying software default setting).

Insert the DVD movie you wish to copy into the DVD burner drive. The drive detection will auto-execute the ‘Autorun’ mode on most systems, depending on your Windows settings. Select DVD Next Copy and click ok.

If you do not see the auto run after 30 seconds, you can run DVD Next Copy by clicking on either the desktop icon or the DVD Next Copy in the start menu.

Step 1.
Click on Automatic Full and select your source and target drives. In this example I selected [Drive ‘E’] as the source drive and [Drive ‘D’] as the target drive.

Always label properly your DVD as it helps you organize your DVDs later. In this screen, you can adjust the DVD movie software burn speed and target size. You may check the boxes to remove the region code and DTS audio and jump direct to menu. Click on start to copy.

About Burn Speed:
Matching burning speed with the speed of the blank DVD media is critical. However, burning at faster speed also compromises the quality of your copy, due to the necessary consequence of the underlying physics. You should check our site for more information about burning speeds.

Note:  You can choose to only copy the movie and disable other added features such as trailers, disclaimers, etc. by clicking on ‘Copy Main Movie’.

Step 2.
The DVD burning software will begin to pre scan the DVD movie. After the pre scan, the DVD burning software will begin to transcode the DVD move to your hard drive. (Conversion Cycle)

Step 3.
You will be able to preview the movie and you can see the progress and information.

Step 4.
After the DVD movie is converted to your hard drive, the DVD burning process will automatically start. Progress will be shown by the total time and the total progress bar indicator.

Step 5.
When the DVD burning process is completed, you will hear an alert audible. The progress bar will be grayed out and the ‘Burn Done’ message will appear next to a time stamp. The DVD disc will eject automatically.


Congratulations! You have just completed burning a DVD copy using a burning DVD movie software!

Note: You also have the option of inserting another blank DVD disc, clicking on New Copy and burning a second backup DVD copy.
