How to burn VOB files back to DVD using Super DVD Creator

VOB files are one of the core files found on DVD Video disc that contain the actual video, audio, subtitles, and menus for the DVD. If you have saved a .VOB files in your hard drive you need to have a DVD player software that supports VOB playback like VLC media player to view them.

Burning .VOB file back to DVD requires special software to make them playable on any home DVD player. With Super DVD Creator, you can rebuild .VOB files back to DVD. Step 1: Open Super DVD Creator 9.8 program.

Step 2: Select DVD Compiler option.

Step 3: Browse and add the .VOB file that you want to burn by clicking on the “+” button on the lower left corner.

The video files that are added will then be displayed in the preview area and the Title Menus will also be automatically created. You can zoom and move the title menu everywhere.

Note: Do not overlap title menu.

To change the image on the title menu, double click on the title menu and a clip property window will open. Drag the slider back and forth and select the desired image displayed then click on the "check" button to apply the changes you’ve made.

Step 4: Personalize your DVD. If you wished to change the background image, you can click on any of the images available in the right side or click on the button below the images to use your own customized image as background.

Adding title text. Click on  button to add a title text to the title menu then double click on the text added to edit. To delete the text just simply right click on the text and click on Delete Text.
Adding background music. Click on button to add background music to your title menu. To delete the background music added click on  button.

Step 5: Burning Process. After configuring all the desired settings click on the “Next” button at the bottom right of the program to proceed to the burning process.

Check all the settings if they are all correct and click on the “Start” button to start the burning process. Make sure there’s enough disk space (at least 10GB) you set for the Output Folder. If you want to change the Output Folder setting click on  button and browse for another folder. Super DVD Creator needs to save file to this folder during the conversion process. Once the burning process is done DVD will automatically be ejected. Removed the DVD and close the DVD Disc Compiler window.

If for some reasons burning will fail try to do the following:

  • close all programs and restart your PC
  • replace the blank DVD
  • repeat the whole process
  • in the final step try to lower the write speed setting

When burning is completed test the DVD if you were able to burn successfully. If you wish to burn another .VOB file repeat step 2 to step 5. But if you wish to burn another copy of the same movie that you have just created go back to the main window and select the Disc Burner option. Click on the DVD Folder button at the lower left corner of the window.

Browse to the Output Folder that you set when you burn the first copy. It is where the program saved the DVD files during the Authoring/Conversion process. Then select the DVD folder of the movie that you want to burn and click OK.

After adding the DVD files click the Next button to proceed to the burning process.

Click Start to start the burning process. Once completed removed the disc and close the window.
