How to burn movies created thru Windows Movie Maker

I am a beginner at dvd burning. I make movies thru Windows Movie Maker on my laptop but it tells me I need another software program to burn it to a dvd that will play on my dvd player for the TV. I have not been able to find an easy software to do that or maybe I am saving them in the wrong setting. I have been saving them as DV-AVI (NTSC)? would that be correct & can you recommend a user friendly (real easy please) that I can purchase?

Yes that's fine. If you save it as DV-AVI (NTSC) you will have .avi video file. So in order for you to burn it on a blank DVD and watch it on your TV you will need a DVD authoring software. The best software I would recommend for you to use is the Super DVD Creator. With this software you can create custom DVDs with menus and it supports a number of different video formats such as .avi, .wmv, .vob, and a lot more.
