How Many Movies Can I Burn Into a Single Blank DVD Disc?
It really depends on what file size are the movies that you have. And you can actually fit as many movies as you want as long as it does not exceed the storage capacity of the blank dvd (single layer dvd: 4.7GB) (dual layer dvd: 16 GB) you will be using.

This is really useful for making quick backups or for copying several dvd movies that you own to fit on a single dvd disc (dual layer).

Factors that Determine the movie file size are:
  • Resolution or the movie screen size.
  • Movie or Video Format
  • Frame rate or the number of frames played played per second. The higher the frame rate, the better is the movie quality. However, file size becomes lager too.
  • Compression, the lower the compression the higher the movie quality. However, having a very low compression also means a bigger file size.
Your video should have a good balance between the resolution, format, frame rate, compression and file size. Your DVD burning software should automatically take care of the settings for you.
