GEAR DVD also includes all the CD ripping and burning capabilities that you might want also. RIP audio CDs to WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, or MPEG audio files. Our advanced CD ripper lets you select all tracks, or just the tracks that you want, and you can adjust the file size and audio quality, as well as the ripping speed. This is a very handy feature, but makes the software interface more difficult to use for those users who just want a bare bones DVD copier.
In short it does a lot of cool stuff, but is a little more complicated to use then other titles and is probably suited more to advanced users.

The verdict: This software is as good as the others and has more features (just look at the ‘Reasons to buy’ below). It’s only detractor is a confusing interface that makes it slightly complicated to use…. Although a 30 day, full-featured trial is available for download so if you don’t like using it you can always get your money back. Registered GEAR DVD users also get free updates and direct technical support for a full year.
